sntv Insights – South East Asian Games

The South East Asian (SEA) Games took place between 5 - 17 May 2023 in Cambodia. We offered access to highlights cleared for digital and broadcast.

Here’s a summary of how our coverage of the SEA Games performed around the world:  

  • Event highlights distributed by sntv were used by 167 media outlets and in 60 markets across the world.  

  • sntv's coverage of the regional event was used the most by media outlets in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam and significant media interest was recorded in Brunei, Cambodia and Malaysia in South East Asia, as well as in China and South Korea. 

  • 39% of media outlets to use highlights from the event operate in Asia/Australia, with 50% of those operating within South East Asian markets.

  • Outside of Asia/Australia, media exposure was also notably recorded in France, Germany, Netherlands, Qatar, Spain, the USA and UK.

  • Event highlights distributed by sntv from the event recorded 27.4m video views and 1.5m engagements on social media.
