- Vuelta a España – Denmark’s Jonas Vingegaard took overall victory at the season’s final Grand Tour.
- Women’s Rugby World Cup – Hosts England lifted the trophy in front of a record-breaking Twickenham crowd.
- Ryder Cup – Europe edged the USA in New York, retaining the title with a narrow 15–13 win.
The month also marked the start of the European club soccer competitions, with SNTV providing previews and reaction from the standout matches.
Looking ahead, October will feature the conclusion of Major League Baseball with the World Series.
