October saw the return of the NBA. It made its long-awaited return to China, with the Brooklyn Nets taking on the Phoenix Suns in Macau. SNTV had previews, highlights and reaction from the game. SNTV was also across a less happy moment for the NBA with the revelation of a betting scandal. SNTV had reaction from players and coaches sharing their thoughts on the news, how they've been impacted by the rise of sports betting and what could lie ahead for the league's expanding role in the space.
The month also included the latest round of World Cup qualifying matches, with SNTV on hand to witness Saudi Arabia and Qatar book their places, as well as the success of Cape Verde. They became the second smallest nation to reach the finals and SNTV was there on the pitch to witness the players and fans celebrating their achievement.
Other stories included action from the UCI Track World Championships in Chile, exclusive coverage of preparations for the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan and another exclusive with Saudi Arabia’s Salem Al Dawsari being crowned AFC Player of the Year.
In the final week, the ICC Women’s World Cup reached its conclusion with India lifting the trophy and the LA Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays went head-to-head in the World Series, with Los Angeles Dodgers eventually coming out on top.
November highlights include the WTA and ATP Finals, the Davis Cup Finals and the final of the Copa Libertadores.
