July was a landmark month across multiple sports, with major soccer tournaments, Grand Slam tennis events plus historic moments in boxing, golf and cycling, all covered by SNTV.
Soccer took centre stage with the completion of the FIFA Club World Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup both in the United States, as well as the Women's UEFA Euro's in Switzerland.
SNTV provided highlights and news coverage from both US based tournaments, as Chelsea defeated Paris Saint-Germain to become Club World Champions, while Mexico edged hosts USA to claim the Concacaf Gold Cup. Meanwhile, SNTV was on the ground in Switzerland delivering comprehensive news coverage from the Women's Euros, which was eventually won by England.
SNTV's coverage extended well beyond soccer. At the Wimbledon Championships, Jannik Sinner and Iga Świątek both claimed their first singles titles on the grass courts. In golf, world number one Scottie Scheffler delivered a dominant performance at The Open Championship at Royal Portrush to win his first Claret Jug.
In boxing, Oleksandr Usyk made history by becoming hte undisputed heavyweight champion, securing a fifth-round knockout of Daniel Dubois. Meanwhile, the Tour de France concluded with Tadej Pogačar taking home a record-equalling fourth title.
Looking ahead to August, SNTV is gearing up for a packed schedule, including the kick-off of the major European soccer leagues, the World Aquatics Championships, the start of the Women's Rugby World Cup and the opening rounds of the US Open in tennis.
