December began with McLaren’s Lando Norris celebrating his first-ever Formula One Drivers’ World Championship. SNTV was the only agency to deliver highlights and reaction from every race throughout 2025, coverage we will once again provide across the full 2026 season.
The month also marked the start of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, with SNTV crews on the ground covering training sessions, press conferences and reaction.
The biggest news story of the month came when former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious car accident while in Nigeria. While Joshua himself escaped with minor injuries, two of his close friends tragically lost their lives. SNTV provided video from the scene alongside reaction from across the sporting world.
Looking ahead, this month will see the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations, as well as the start of the first tennis Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open. We will also begin building coverage towards the first major global sporting event of the year, the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
