August marked the return of Europe’s biggest football leagues, with SNTV delivering regular news coverage from the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and Bundesliga — for which we also supplied weekly highlights.
The month’s first major win went to Paris Saint-Germain, who defeated Tottenham on penalties to claim the European Super Cup, with SNTV providing previews and full reaction.
We were also across the drama during the soccer transfer window, including an exclusive announcement from South Korea’s Son Heung-min confirming his departure from Tottenham to join Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC.
Beyond soccer, August also featured the start of the US Open tennis, the Women’s Rugby World Cup, and cycling’s La Vuelta. SNTV provided highlights and reaction from all three. Looking ahead, September will bring the climax of these competitions, alongside the kick-off of the NFL season and the Women’s Cricket World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
