sntv launches samsung smart tv app
sntv, the world’s number one sports video news agency, announced today that it will provide various sport news content for a new Video On Demand (VOD) sports news app for Samsung’s latest Smart TV models 2012/2013. The app has been developed by Rightster, and is available for free download globally for all Samsung Smart TV customers.
Samsung Smart TV owners will be able to access a vast vault of high quality SNTV content at the swipe of a screen, giving the consumer complete control over what sport news and highlights footage they watch and when. The sntv app compliments Samsung’s existing range of Smart TV sports apps. The sntv app is dedicated to providing the consumer with the very latest global sports news content, including the very latest developments from big tournaments, including the UEFA Champions League and FIFA World Cup.
The app is designed to integrate Samsung’s advertising AdHub service, which will support video ad formats. The exciting partnership between sntv, Rightster and Samsung marks sntv’s first foray into the app market. sntv, a joint venture between The Associated Press and IMG Media, offers unrivalled sports content for consumers to choose from, ranging from universally popular sports through to extreme sports that rarely feature on broadcast television channels.

Eurosport switches over to sntv for video news content
