Ronaldo forced to apologise to furious fans after Al Nassr postpone China tour

China fans at Al Nassr hotel in Shenzhen, China were angered by the postponement of Saudi club's friendly match against Shanghai Shenhua less than 24 hours before kick-off.

Both Al Nassr’s China Tour matches against Shanghai Shenhua on January 24 and Zhejiang FC on January 28 are called off due to Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury.

Ronaldo has a calf muscle issue and hasn’t played since December 2023.

The Al Nassr squad, including Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio, David Ospina, Aymeric Laporte, Alex Telles and Talisca are all in Shenzhen while Sadio Mane and Seko Fofana are in Ivory Coast for the African Cup of Nations.

Organizers promised the fans will get the full refund of match tickets, flights and hotels.
