Editorial Summary - July

June deliered a packed schedule of global sporting highlights. The month kicked off with the conclusion of the French Open at Roland Garros, where Carlos Alcaraz succesfully defended his men's singles title in a thrilling five-set battle against world number one Jannik Sinner. In the women's final, Coco Gauff claimed her second Grand Slam title, overcoming top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka. SNTV provided highlights throughout the tournament.

It was also a landmark month in the US. The NBA and NHL seasons both came to a dramatic close. The Oklahoma City Thunder captured the NBA Championship after a hard-fought seven-game series against the Indiana Pacers. Meanwhile, the Florida Panthers retained their Stanley Cup crown with victory over the Edmonton Oilers. SNTV was the only agency delivering highlights and post-game coverage from both finals.

Golf fans were treated to a moment of brilliance at the US Open, where JJ Spaun clinched his maiden major title with a stunning 64-foot birdie putt on the final hole to win by one shot.  

Soccer also took centre stage in the US with the kick-off of both the FIFA Club World Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. SNTV is providing comprehensive coverage of both tournaments, capturing all the action and key stories as they unfold.

Elsewhere, cricket made headlines as South Africa lifted the ICC World Test Championship trophy with a decisive win over Australia at Lord's, a moment captured by SNTV.

Looking ahead to July, the sporting calendar remains in full swing with the conclusion of the Club World Cup and Gold Cup, the start of the UEFA Women's EUROs in Switzerland, the iconic Wimbledon Championships, the Tour de France and the Open Championship, which will all be covered by SNTV.
