SNTV Service

SNTV's sole aim is to be the first to provide television broadcasters, broadband & mobile companies with top quality footage of the sports news of the day. We exist only to provide the coverage our clients require. We encourage requests for material and will always go out of our way to try to satisfy them.

For television clients, SNTV transmits seven bulletins a day organised to meet broadcasters' crucial production deadlines. Each bulletin contains 4 to 5 event highlights and 1 - 2 pieces of original journalism.

In addition to the scheduled bulletins SNTV has immediate access to AP's dedicated satellite channels to "flash" video of breaking stories anywhere in the world. Newsrooms are alerted to be ready to record the flash.

Bulletins are regionalised, so that an "Asian" edit of Wimbledon will feature, for example, Japanese and Australian players. Breaking news will always be sent out immediately.

SNTV content can also be used for digital media such as broadband and mobile services. This service is available via satellite delivery and is not currently delivered by ftp.

RIGHTS
With IMG Media as one of its parent companies, SNTV has unequalled news access to top sports. We have developed a relationship with the rights-holders to over 90% of the most prestigious global sports or events.

Where possible SNTV will clear rights centrally. Occasionally customers will need to clear access with local rightsholders. For a full up-to-date list of SNTV's rights portfolio, customised for your region, please contact sales@sntv.com.

For newsgathering outside of the main events SNTV has access to AP’s 83 bureaux world-wide enabling SNTV to get staff and cameras in place for breaking news stories. SNTV also has access to TWI's offices around the globe and crews in situ at relevant sporting events.

SNTV’s crews are present at all major sporting events such as the Olympic Games, World Cup, Grand Slam tennis events and major golf tournaments. They will provide interviews with the players in their own language.
