FIFA Confederations Cup - South Africa

The FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 will be held from 14 June to 28 June 2009 and will take place in Johannesburg (Ellis Park), Rustenburg, Pretoria and Bloemfontein.

Brazil - as Copa America 2007 winners and reigning FIFA Confederations Cup winners

Egypt - as CAF African Cup of Nations 2008 winners

Iraq - as (first-time) AFC Asian Cup 2007 champions

Italy - as 2006 FIFA World Cup™ winners

South Africa - as Hosts

Spain - as UEFA EURO 2008 winners

USA - as CONCACAF Gold Cup 2007 winners

New Zealand - as OFC Nations Cup 2007-2008 winners.
