UEFA Cup Final - Istanbul, Turkey

The UEFA Cup final will visit a new city this season as the competition ends at Istanbul's Åžükrü SaracoÄŸlu Stadium on Wednesday 20 May 2009.

Turkey's largest city was given its first major European showpiece when the Atatürk Olympic Stadium staged the 2005 UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool FC and AC Milan. Now the UEFA Cup will be decided on Istanbul's Asian side in the home of Fenerbahçe SK, which was first opened in 1907 but renovated between 1999 and 2006 into a modern arena with around 50,000 seats.
